This website

This website doesn't use cookies or analytics, and we don't collect personal information through it. The service that hosts it may keep standard technical logs. If you email us, we use your email only to reply.

Our email list

Signing up is optional. Your email address is stored by Kit, the email service we use, and used only to send you Wren & Wire news. We ask you to confirm first, every email has an unsubscribe link, and we never sell or share the list.

Orders

Orders are placed on our Etsy shop. Etsy gives us your name, shipping address, email address, what you bought and any messages you send us. We never see your card details. We use this only to make, ship and support your order and to keep the records the law requires, and share it only with Printify and the print shop that makes your item, the carrier, Etsy, and our accountant or the authorities when the law requires it. We don't sell your information. Our shop policies cover shipping, replacements and refunds.

Our social media publishing tool

We use our own small tool, "Wren & Wire Publisher", to post Wren & Wire's own photos and videos to Wren & Wire's own accounts: our Facebook Page, Instagram (@wrenandwireco), Pinterest (@wrenandwireco), YouTube (@wrenandwireco) and TikTok (@wrenandwireco). It is used only by Wren & Wire, for those accounts. It is not offered to anyone else, and nobody outside the business can sign in to it.

What it accesses. When we connect one of our accounts, the platform gives the tool a sign-in token and basic details of that account (its id, name and username) so the tool can check it is posting to the right account. The tool uploads the content we choose, sets its caption, and reads back whether the post went through. It doesn't read your messages, your profile or your personal data. Comments on our posts are handled in the platforms' own apps, not by this tool.

Where it's kept. Tokens and post records are stored on our own computer, not shared with anyone and not sold. Every post needs a person at Wren & Wire to approve it before it goes out. Data we get from a platform's API is refreshed or deleted within 30 days unless the platform allows longer.

YouTube. The tool uses the YouTube API Services to upload our videos to our own channel. By using it you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Access can be removed at any time on the Google security settings page.

Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Pinterest and TikTok. Access can be removed at any time in each platform's settings for connected apps (Facebook: Settings > Business integrations; Instagram: Settings > Website permissions > Apps and websites; Pinterest: Settings > Security and logins > Apps; TikTok: Settings > Security > Manage app permissions). Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing hello@wrenandwire.com. We'll answer within 30 days. Some records, such as tax records, may have to be kept for legal reasons. If this policy changes, we'll update this page and its date.
